Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Transfer to the airport where you depart on a shared light aircraft flight taking you to Buhoma.
On arrival you will be met and transferred to Bwindi Lodge.
In the afternoon, enjoy a community walking tour which offers an insight into the local area and communities within Buhoma including a visit to the tea plantation, local healer, gin production, schools and hospital.
Time permitting, you can also walk down to the river or browse the craft market stalls.
Overnight: Bwindi Lodge (Full Board Plus – Dinner, Bed, Breakfast, Lunch, Local Drinks and Activities).
Day 2: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Enjoy the wildlife encounter of a lifetime as you trek the majestic mountain gorillas.
In the afternoon, visit the Ride 4 A Woman community centre. Browse the craft shop and learn more about the work this special project does to help the women gain skills and employment.
Overnight: Bwindi Lodge (Full Board Plus – Dinner, Bed, Breakfast, Lunch, Local Drinks, and Activities)
Day 3: End of Itinerary
After breakfast, depart on a shared light aircraft flight to Entebbe (afternoon flights are also available in high season months).
On arrival, continue with your own onward arrangements.
