Day 4: Masai Mara-Lake Nakuru safaris– Flamingo Paradise
Today, we journey to Lake Nakuru National Park, famed for its incredible birdlife, particularly its flamingos.
After breakfast, depart by road for Lake Nakuru National Park. This park is renowned for its picturesque pink waters and thriving birdlife, particularly flamingos. Check into the exclusive Lake Elmenteita Serena Camp, a small and exclusive property perched along the sapphire shores of Lake Elmenteita.
This area has a rich history, as the nomadic Maasai have passed through it for centuries. "Elmenteita" derives from the Maasai phrase "place of dust."
The camp offers exclusive access to the Soysambu Conservancy, a RAMSAR site recognized for its international wetland importance.
The alkaline lake's rocky islands are the only East African nesting site for great white pelicans, and its algae and plankton support vast flocks of flamingos and other waterfowl.
Daytime game drives offer the chance to observe large herds of zebras, gazelles, elands, waterbucks, buffaloes, and smaller mammals like jackals, warthogs, and endangered Rothschild's giraffes.

After an early breakfast in the Rift Valley, head to Nairobi for a picnic lunch before traveling south to Amboseli National Park, with the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro as your backdrop. Arrive at the famous Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge. Nestled in the shadows of Mount Kilimanjaro, this lodge offers stunning views of Africa’s tallest peak. Have lunch and set out for the afternoon game drive, where you'll enjoy daily game drives and birdwatching tours.
