Detailed Itinerary

Day 1–2: Arrival in Nairobi – Tigoni Tea Country Escape
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, your private guide will warmly welcome you and escort you to the serene Tigoni highlands, just outside Nairobi. You’ll spend two nights at the architecturally stunning Tea Pods Tigoni, an eco-conscious retreat nestled among lush tea plantations and indigenous forests. Your stay begins with a slow immersion into nature — enjoy forest walks, birdwatching, and a tour of the tea estate where you’ll learn about sustainable tea farming practices. Meals are organic and locally sourced, served al fresco with breathtaking views. On your second day, you’ll venture into Nairobi for enriching visits to the Giraffe Centre and the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, where you’ll witness firsthand the heartwarming conservation work being done with rescued elephants and endangered Rothschild giraffes.

Day 3–4: Maasai Mara – Safari Royalty in the Wild
After breakfast, you’ll take a scenic flight to the iconic Maasai Mara, where your home for two nights will be at Mara Plains Camp  renowned for it"s eco-luxury design and commitment to low-impact tourism. Your days here are filled with exhilarating game drives across the open savannah, where the Big Five roam freely. You’ll also enjoy an optional sunrise hot air balloon safari, followed by a champagne bush breakfast. Evenings are spent under a canopy of stars with fireside storytelling, or dining privately in the bush. A highlight is the cultural visit to a Maasai village that practices community-led conservation, allowing guests to engage meaningfully while learning about this proud, pastoralist culture.

Day 5: Lake Naivasha – Waterside Wilderness
Departing the Mara, you’ll travel by road to Lake Naivasha, nestled in the Great Rift Valley. Spend the night at Chui Lodge, a solar-powered sanctuary located within the Oserengoni Wildlife Conservancy. After lunch, set out on a peaceful boat ride across the lake, gliding past hippos and spotting a kaleidoscope of birdlife. Later, enjoy a guided walking safari in the conservancy, offering an up-close perspective of plains game and a chance to learn about ongoing wildlife protection initiatives. Relax with sundowners by the lake as the sky turns golden and the air fills with birdsong.

Day 6: Aberdares – Enchanted Mountain Forests
This morning, you’ll head north to the misty Aberdare mountain range. Spend the night at The Ark Lodge, with its dramatic views over a wildlife-rich waterhole. After lunch, embark on an afternoon forest safari through the Aberdare National Park, home to elephants, leopards, and the elusive bongo antelope. The high-altitude landscape is mystical and unique — towering bamboo stands, waterfalls, and moorland create an unforgettable experience.

Day 7–8: Laikipia – Private Conservancy Safari in Loisaba
Traveling to Laikipia, you’ll spend two nights in a world-class eco-retreat Loisaba Tented Camp  a leader in sustainable luxury. Day 9–10: Samburu – Wild Beauty and Cultural Richness
The journey continues to Samburu, one of Kenya’s most striking landscapes and home to the Samburu Special Five: Grevy’s zebra, Beisa oryx, gerenuk, Somali ostrich, and reticulated giraffe. You’ll stay at Saruni Samburu ,  perched on rocky hills with dramatic views and a deep-rooted commitment to conservation. During your stay, participate in a Karisia walking safari experience — an immersive guided trek alongside Samburu guides and camels, a traditional method of travel in this region. You’ll also visit the Reteti Elephant Sanctuary, a community-owned initiative where orphaned elephants are cared for and rehabilitated, offering an inspiring look at human-wildlife harmony. Day 11–13: Diani – Coastal Wellness & Conservation
A flight from Samburu brings you to the sun-drenched shores of Diani Beach on Kenya’s south coast. Settle in for three nights of barefoot luxury at  Almanara Luxury Villas . The property is deeply committed to marine and coastal conservation. Your time here is yours to spend in bliss: snorkel in coral reefs on a marine conservation tour, practice yoga on the beach, and sail into the sunset aboard a traditional dhow. You may also visit the Colobus Conservation Centre to learn about the protection of native monkey species. Each evening, unwind with fine dining and cocktails under the stars, lulled by the sound of the ocean.

Day 14: Departure – Until We Meet Again
Enjoy a relaxed morning before your private transfer to Ukunda Airport for your flight back to Nairobi. Depending on your departure time, a day room can be arranged at an eco-certified hotel near Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Bid farewell to Kenya — with your heart full, your soul inspired, and your footprint light.
